BAGAD BRO FOËN ![]()

History
Fouesnant bagad (the bagad was created on the model of the Scottish pipebands,
by adding the bombard, a traditional Breton instrument to the Scottish bagpipes
and drums) was born in September 1996: about twenty people followed classes
from BAS 29 (Finistere bombard and bagpipe players society); in December 1997,
the bagad performed for the first time in front of 600 listeners for a charity
show in Fouesnant.

and jealously protected region, mother nature has been very generous with us.
Cider and butter biscuits have long made Fouesnant famous, it's impossible not
to yield to temptation by crabs, shrimps, prawns, clams, scampi or lobsters
caught by local fishermen.

Shows and parades :
The group appears in shows in two ways: in parade or on stage. In parade, we
only play slow pieces such as marches, an dro, melodies, etc. On the contrary,
when on stage, we play all kinds of musics (Breton musics, of course!) such
as gavottes, plinn, creations, etc., which allows Landrévarzec Breton
dancesociety to danceon stage while we play.
